Cala Marmassen, pebble and rock beach, Puerto de Andratx
Update 14/02/23. Cala Marmassen is 1.7 km from the town of Puerto de Andratx. It is a small pebble and rock beach in a natural inlet between cliffs on the west coast of Mallorca. Cala Marmassen is a little visited beach due to the lack of sand to lie down comfortably. The shore is made up of rocky areas and boulders.
Cala Marmassen is a beach with crystal clear water with a spectacular bottom made up of Posidonia meadows and rocky areas. It is an ideal beach for snorkeling. During the summer it presents little waves although it is not protected from the south wind. Access to the sea is difficult due to its steep coast. The environment where Cala Marmassen is located is formed by cliffs, pine trees and small bushes. From the beach you can see some residential houses and apartment blocks.
In the town of Puerto de Andratx where Cala Marmassen is located, the promenade with a wide gastronomic offer and the old fishing port stand out.
The closest beaches to Cala Marmassen are Cala Fonoll and Cala Blanca, both in the municipality of Andratx.

How to arrive:
Cala Marmassen is located 1.7km from the Port of Andratx. From Puerto de Andratx towards the Sa Mola Lighthouse there is an access to Cala Marmassen. There is a parking area next to the beach.
