D'es Portitxolet Beach, small sandy beach, Palma.
Update 14/02/23. D'es Portitxolet Beach is located 3 km from the center of the town of Palma on the west coast of Mallorca, next to the Portixol Yacht Club. It is a small sandy beach in front of the residential area known as El Molinar. D'es Portitxolet Beach is not a very popular beach due to its small size and the proximity of other more popular beaches in front of tourist areas of Palma.
D'es Portitxolet Beach is generally a beach with calm waters. During the summer it has no waves although it is not protected from the south wind. From the shore, access to the sea is with a gently sloping, making it easy for visitors to enter the sea. At the back is a small promenade that separates the beach from the residential houses in the area.
In the Molinar neighborhood, the marina, the promenade and the many cafes and restaurants with its varied gastronomic offer stand out.
The closest beaches to D'es Portitxolet Beach are Ciudad Jardín Beach and Can Pere Antoni Beach, both in the municipality of Palma.
