Es Carbó Beach
Es Carbó, sandy beach and crystal clear waters next to Colonia de Sant Jordi.
Update 02/02/23. Es Carbó, is a spectacular sandy beach located in Colonia de Sant Jordi. The area where the beach is located is very beautiful. It is far from constructions and in its back part there are forests of pines, bushes and sand dunes.
Es Carbó is a white sand beach and is protected from the waves. Its waters are light colours due to the seabed of sand and its shallow depth.
It is a very long beach and it is accessed by skirting the coast from the town of Colonia de Sant Jordi. On the way you pass other very beautiful beaches. In front of the Es Carbó beach, about 200 meters away there is a small islet with a small sandy beach.
The beach is very clean and the colour of its waters immediately invites you to bathe in them, they are shallow waters ideal for families with children.
Since it is far from urban centers, it does not have services although it has a lifeguard. It is usual the anchorage of boats near the beach. In some more remote areas in Es Carbó, the practice of nudism is common.
How to arrive:
Es Carbó is located next to the town of Colonia de Sant Jordi, on the southern tip of the island. Access to the beach is to the left of the marina and it is necessary to walk about 30 minutes along the coast until you reach the area opposite the islet.
