Playa de Muro
Playa de Muro, a large sandy beach with crystal clear waters in the Bay of Alcudia.
Update 27/03/24. The beach of Muro is located in the bay of Alcudia, between the towns of Puerto de Alcudia and Can Picafort, it is actually a part of the kilometric sand beach that runs through the Bay of Alcudia.
This beach has fine white sand and stands out for the colours of the sea. Its different shades of blue are spectacular. The access to the sea is with a gentle slope and is perfect for families with children.
The environment is very beautiful and despite being within a tourist area the buildings near the beach are surrounded by vegetation, mainly large pine trees.
The beach of Muro has all the services; showers, lifeguards, bars, restaurants, umbrellas, hammocks and numerous water activities.
It is frequented by tourists and residents and is very popular among lovers of kite surfing and windsurfing.
The least crowded area is located between the last hotels of Playa de Muro and the town of Can Picafort. This area is in front of Es Comú de Muro, a protected natural area formed by Mediterranean forest in which there are several routes with shade.
On the Playa de Muro, the Sant Miquel torrent flows and communicates the waters of the sea with those of the Albufera Natural Park, the largest wetland in Mallorca.
How to arrive:
Playa de Muro is located next to the Port of Alcudia in the direction of Can Picafort in the Bay of Alcudia. It is easy to park nearby.
