Port des Canonge
Port des Canonge beach, small pebble beach on the north coast of Mallorca.
Update 02/02/23. The Port des Canonge Beach is located next to the town of Banyalbufar in the Sierra de Tramuntana, on the north coast of Mallorca.
It is a small pebble cove used for decades to protect small fishing boats.
This cove is open to the north and sometimes we can find important waves. When organizing the beach day it is advisable to look at the weather forecast since the road is long and runs through the mountains.
Its surroundings are very beautiful, as in the nearby Cala des Port de Valldemosa. The high mountains that surround the beach stand out. It is a cove frequented by the residents of the area.
For diving enthusiasts it is a perfect place, since its bottom is rocky.
The beach Port des Canonge lacks services and in its vicinity are the towns of Banyalbufar, Esporles and Valldemosa.
How to arrive:
From Palma, take the Ma-1040 road towards Esporles. From Esporles you should continue towards Banyalbufar and after 4km on the right there is the indication to access the road to the beach Port des Canonge.
