Sa Calobra
Sa Calobra, beautiful beach in a spectacular mountain setting.
Update 02/02/23. The beach of Sa Calobra is located in the municipality of Escorca at the foot of the Sierra de Tramuntana on the north coast of Mallorca. It is a small beach at the mouth of the Torrent de Pareis.
This beautiful beach is made of pebbles and its seabed is mainly sandy. The beach is quite narrow, about 50 meters and generally quite busy. It is a beach protected from the waves.
Sa Calobra is a beach with crystal clear turquoise waters in the middle of the immense mountains that surround it.
The landscape that forms the Torrent de Pareis at its mouth is spectacular being the deepest canyon in all of Europe. Many hikers walk the torrent route in the months of little rain.
It can be reached by sea from Soller with tourist boats or by road. During the summer months it is a very busy place.
How to arrive:
The road that connects the towns of Lluc and Soller by the Sierra de Tramuntana near the Gorg Blau has the detour to go to Sa Calobra. It is a long journey through mountain area. Next to Sa Calobra there is a parking area.
