Update 14/02/23. Son Matias beach is located in front of the tourist center of Palmanova on the west coast of Mallorca. It is a large beach with all kinds of services to enjoy a nice day at the beach. Son Matias is a beach with a very high occupation during the summer.
Its seabed is sandy and on the sides of the beach are rocky areas with posidonia meadows. During the summer it presents little waves although it is not protected from the southwest wind. Access to the sea is gently sloping, ideal for families with children. The environment of Son Matias Beach, being located next to an important tourist center, is urban with the presence of a beautiful promenade that connects the three main beaches in the town of Palmanova.
