Sant Elm, a small coastal town located opposite the Sa Dragonera Natural Park.
Update 05/02/20. San Telmo is delightfully set on the west coast of Mallorca and located in the municipality of Andratx. A small town in a beautiful location it is placed right next to the Tramuntana mountains. In these sunny herbaceous surroundings you can 'flutter' with the butterflies and relate with nature. Sant Elm is a place of great natural beauty and is a departure from the madding crowd.
Of interest to many will be the Torre de Sant Elm. This is a very old sailors hospital opposite the island Pantaleu. Indeed, it has historic significance for it has been used for the care of sailors since the Middle Ages. In Sant Elm you will discover waterfront restaurants, each with their unique view. The cuisine tends towards seafood.
Unsurprisingly, many bathers, scuba drivers, undersea explorers are drawn to the area. There is here to be found crystal clear waters, inlets and bays, the peace and quiet essential to perusing sea life in its unchanged natural surroundings. The locality has many picturesque beaches: Carregador is a small pebble beach frequented by the inhabitants of Sant Elm. Geperut or The Beach of Sant Elm, is the largest beach and here one enjoys clean fine white sand. It is popular with both locals and tourists. Finally but not exclusively there is Cala Cala Petita Conills for those seeking tranquillity.
How to arrive:
The town of Sant Elm is located in the northwest corner of the island. From Palma you must first go to Andratx on the Ma-1 motorway and from Andratx take the Ma-1030 road to get to Sant Elm.
