Es Llombards, locality near the south coast of the island near the Natural Park of Mondragó.
Update 14/02/23. Es Llombards is a town near the coast located south of Mallorca and belongs to the municipality of Santanyí. It is located 55 km from Palma and 4 km from the town of Santanyí. In its vicinity we find the towns of Colonia de Santa Jordi, Campos and Felanitx. Its approximate population is 550 inhabitants. In the municipality of Santanyí along with Es Llombards we also find the urban centers of S'Alqueria Blanca, Calonge, Cala Llombards, Cala Santanyí, Sa Monja, Cala Figuera, Portopetro, Cala d'Or and El Cap des Moro.
Es Llombards is a small town that preserves the calm of yesteryear. It has several local shops, some bars and restaurants. This town stands out for its tradition in the cheese industry with the well-known Formatges Grimalt factory. Many foreign residents live in Es Llombards and its surroundings. Not far from Es Llombards we find a large number of beaches and coves of great beauty.
Near Es Llombards, about 10 km away, you will find the beautiful beaches Cala Mondragó and S'Amarador located in the Mondragó Natural Park. Hiking enthusiasts in this area will find numerous itineraries.

• Town center. In the center of the town stands the Plaza d'es Pou where the local market is held weekly. Here we also find small shops, some bars and restaurants.

• Prehistoric settlements. In the municipality of Santanyí there are the settlements of Rafal des Porcs, Son Danús and Ca Jordi.

Near Es Llombards you can visit the Santanyí market that is held every Wednesday and Saturday. Other points of special interest are the nearby towns of Colonia de Sant Jordi, Portopetro and Cala d'Or, all located next to the coast. Some of the most beautiful beaches within the municipality of Santanyí are Caló des Moro and Caló des Màrmols. Also noteworthy are the wonderful views that you get from the Puig de Sant Salvador located 30km from Es Llombards. Another recommended visit near Es Llombards is that of the Lighthouse of the Cape of Las Salines where there is a magnificent route for hikers along the coast.

How to arrive:
From Palma you must take the Ma-19 highway that passes through the towns of Llucmajor and Campos, then you must continue to Santanyí and finally the local Ma-6100 road will take you to Es Llombards.
