Mallorca weekly markets

+

List of the main weekly markets of Mallorca.

Update 18/02/24. In Mallorca every day there are numerous markets in different locations. They are usually held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. It is an ancient tradition that still lives today. Generally in the markets they sell fruits and vegetables of Majorca, cheeses, sausages, clothes, footwear, artisan product, gift articles, etc.

Some of these markets have become very popular among visitors to Mallorca. We highlight the markets of Inca, Pollensa, Artá, Santa Maria del Camí, Santanyí and Sineu, where you will find numerous stalls.

In the small towns of the interior the markets are directed mainly to the residents of the locality. With the arrival of good weather and coinciding with the tourist season all markets increase their points of sale. Generally the market day of each locality is like festivals, multitude of visitors in the streets, music, good atmosphere, terraces of bars and restaurants full of people ...

In Mallorca the covered markets are also very popular, which are open every day except on rest days. Find more information about the covered markets here.

Also noteworthy are the second hand markets such as the Consell Market held on Sunday or Llucmajor, which also has its second hand section. Other markets with second-hand items are; Santa María del Camí on Sunday, Inca on Sunday, Poligono Son Bugadelles Calviá on Saturday and the "Baratillo" in the Avenues of Palma on Saturdays from April to October.
