Update 14/02/23. The Market in the town of Petra is held every Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the streets Hospital and Sol located in the center of town and close to the popular squares of Ramón Llull and Fray Junípero Serra. This market is small in size and is aimed primarily at Petra residents. During your visit to the Petra market you will also see places of special interest located nearby.

The Petra Market maintains the same character of yesteryear, here we will be able to see peasants from the area with their fruit and vegetable outlets. In addition to food products we will also find stands with textile products, crafts, plants, etc. This market is aimed at residents and receives few foreign visitors, the atmosphere is rather local.

In the Ramón Llull and Fray Junípero Serra Squares, located a short distance from the market, is where we find most of the local shops, cafes and restaurants.

The town of Petra is located in the central part of Mallorca. It is close to the towns of Villafranca de Bonany, Sant Joan and Manacor.

How to arrive:

Petra is located 10 km from Manacor. The Ma-3320 road that connects the towns of Inca and Manacor has a direct exit to the town of Petra. The weekly Petra Market is held in the center of the town every Wednesday. Parking is easy nearby.
