The Sant Llorenç market has been held since the fourteenth century and we find a wide variety of stands with all kinds of products. The artisanal products stand out, mainly of food although the offer is very varied. Fruit and vegetable stands are located in the covered area next to Plaça Nova. During the summer months the atmosphere of the Sant Llorenç market is very international with a large influx of foreigners. In winter the number of tourists decreases as well as the number of market stands.
In the surroundings of Plaça Nova we find numerous coffee shops with large terraces where we can make a small stop and enjoy the magnificent atmosphere of the market.
