Hermitage of Crestatx
Hermitage of Crestatx, small oratory that houses the image of Santa Margalida.
Update 12/02/23. The hermitage of Crestatx is a small oratory located 4 km from the town of Sa Pobla.
The chapel that dates from the XIX century is built on the remains of the original hermitage dating from the thirteenth century. In medieval times it was the place of worship of a small village in the area.

The enclosure of the hermitage of Crestatx is composed by a small church, gardens, a bar and public outdoor space.
It has a large parking area and access is very easy. It is near the exit of the Sa Pobla motorway in the direction of Pollensa.

The first Tuesday after Easter the inhabitants of Sa Pobla make a pilgrimage to the Hermitage of Crestatx.
The image of Santa Margalida is carried from Sa Pobla and the typical "arroz brut" is cooked for all attendees, it is a celebration with a lot of tradition in Sa Pobla.
Near the Hermitage of Crestatx are the towns of Sa Pobla, Pollensa and Campanet.

How to arrive:
From Sa Pobla towards Pollensa, the Ma-2200 road passes next to the Hermitage of Crestatx.
