L'Alzinaret Necropolis of Cala Sant Vicenç
L'Alzinaret Necropolis of Cala Sant Vicenç, burial caves and housing caves in the municipality of Pollensa.
Update 10/02/23. The Alzinaret Necropolis is located in the urban center of Cala Sant Vicenç in the municipality of Pollensa.
It is an enclosure where you can walk through a small Mediterranean forest while observing the various constructions of what was a prehistoric settlement.
In the necropolis we find artificial burial caves next to naviform constructions of the Bronze Age.

The Alzinaret Necropolis of Cala Sant Vicenç is located within the residential area of the town in the middle of a beautiful oak forest.
In the necropolis we find a total of 11 caves of different construction. Oval caves are simpler in their construction. The rectangular shaped caves have several elements such as corridors, benches and niches.

In the Necropolis we can see funerary caves next to housing caves. There was a natural coexistence between life and death.
Near the Necropolis of L'Alzinaret is the tourist resort of Cala San Vicente with its beautiful beaches of Cala Barques or Cala Molins.
How to arrive:
The Necropolis of L'Alzinaret is located in the urban center of Cala Sant Vicenç in the municipality of Pollensa. At the entrance of the town you should take the first detour to the right and within walking distance in the same urbanization you will see the enclosure where the caves are located.
