Albufera de Alcudia
Albufera de Alcudia, protected natural area. It is the most extensive wet area of the Balearics.
Update 09/02/23. Albufera de Alcudia, also known as Albufera de Mallorca, is the most extensive wetland in the Balearic Islands. It is located in the northeast of Mallorca between the municipalities of Muro and Sa Pobla. It has an area of about 1,700 hectares and is separated from the sea by dunes and by the road that connects the towns of Puerto de Alcudia and Can Picafort.
The Albufera de Alcudia has an information center and several itineraries to do on foot or by bicycle. In addition to the beautiful landscapes you can see a great variety of native and migratory birds. This visit is recommended for groups of friends as well as for families with children. Admission is free.

How to arrive:
Albufera de Alcudia is located between the towns of Puerto de Alcudia and Canpicafort. The access is by the road of Artá Ma-12 at the height of Playa de Muro.
