Archaeological Site Poblado Ses Païsses. It stands out for its extension and its good state of conservation.
Update 10/02/23. Archaeological Site Poblado Ses Païsses is located in the municipality of Artá, about 300m from the town of Artá. It is one of the largest and best preserved Archaeological Sites in Mallorca.
The Archaeological Site Poblado Ses Païsses has an area of 13,500 m2 and its shape is elliptical. Throughout the years several excavations have been carried out but there are still parts to be excavated.

It had a large exterior wall which protected the town, currently retains its cyclopean portal. In its interior there are various buildings presided over by the central construction.
It is estimated that this settlement was founded around 850 BC and was inhabited for a very long period of time, probably until the arrival of the Roman Empire to the island.
In 1946 the Archaeological Site Poblado Ses Païsses was declared a Historic-Artistic Monument.

The Ses Païsses Talayotic Village is located a short distance from the town center. In the center of Artà the Sant Salvador site stands out and its pedestrian streets where we find numerous shops and restaurants with large terraces.
Near the Archaeological Site Poblado Ses Païsses we can also visit the Canyamel Tower or the Betlem Hermitage.

The Ses Païsses Talayotic Village is just 300 meters from the town of Artá. The Ma-15 road that crosses the town of Artá in one of the central roundabouts has the signs to go to the Talayotic Village
