Es Comú de Muro
Es Comú de Muro, a protected natural area in the Bay of Alcudia.
Update 14/02/20. Es Comú de Muro is a natural area of great beauty with an approximate area of 80 hectares. As the name implies it belongs to the town of Muro.
It is located in the northeast area of the island between the towns of Can Picafort and Puerto de Alcudia next to the beautiful Playa de Muro.

Es Comú de Muro is part of the S'Albufera Natural Park and integrates a coastal bar with a dune system that separates the waters of the interior of S'Albufera with the waters of the sea.
Es Comú de Muro is a grove of pine trees and bushes with a floor of soft undulations of sand. It is a protected area and there are several itineraries that go through the forest and lead to the beach area.

Near the Comú de Muro are the towns of Can Picafort, Muro and Puerto de Alcudia. Its seafront is part of the vast sandy area that runs through the bay of Alcudia.
It is very easy to park nearby. The visit can be combined in summer with a beach day in the turquoise waters of the Playa de Muro or in winter with a visit to the other facilities of the Albufera natural park.
How to arrive:
To get to Es Comú de Muro you must take the Arta Ma-12 road that joins the towns of Puerto de Alcudia and Can picafort. It is located in front of the natural park of Albufera.
