Excursion to the Alcudia watchtower, also known as La Victoria watchtower, from the Hermitage of La Victoria. Distance 6 km, time 1:40h, medium difficulty.

The excursion to the Watchtower of Alcudia will also allow you to visit the Sanctuary of la Victoria and learn a little more about the history of Alcudia in addition to hiking and enjoying the beautiful views. If you do the excursion in summer on your way back we recommend to visit the beach of s'Illot and swim in its crystal clear waters.
This excursion starts from the hermitage of la Victoria located 7 km from the town of Alcudia where we find the Sanctuary of la Victoria, parking area, bar and restaurant. The Sanctuary is Baroque in style and dates from the 17th century.

The route has two different parts. In the first part of the ascent to the Alcudia watchtower the road is quite wide and without much complication, it passes through mainly pine forests and as we climb we have different perspectives of the bay of Pollensa. In this first section we go through the point of the three crosses with a religious meaning.

In the second part of the ascent to the Alcudia watchtower the slope increases remarkably and the path is narrow and in some stretches slippery. Once at the top you can enjoy stunning views, you can see the Sierra de Tramuntana, the interior of the island, the bays of Alcudia and Pollensa and even the island of Menorca.

How to arrive:
The departure point of the excursion to the Alcudia watchtower we have set from the Ermita de la Victoria. To get to the hermitage leaving Alcudia, take Xara street towards Mal Pas or Bon Arie and follow the signs
